Amblend-MA is a proprietary additive containing a high strength copolymer with adhesion properties. It serves as a resin compatibilizer and enhances lamination.
With addition levels as low as 0.5%, it significantly reduces “edge tear” in cast film extrusion. It also enables one to run high percentages of fillers, reprocessed resin, and off specification materials without the anticipated reduction in film properties.

Amblend-MA improves film strength and draw down capabilities, allowing for down gauging, increased line speed, and other cost saving opportunities. It significantly enhances the “sealability” of films, and when added to the outer layer of co-extruded films, it improves layer adhesion and reduces the needed amount of tie-resin. It also improves substrate adhesion in extrusion coating applications.
